Ingredients:
Pulp of 1 Pink Grapefruit, (do not add whole unpeeled segments it will taste bitter!)3/4 cup Water
3/4 cup Ice
3/4 cup fresh raw cranberries, washed
1-2 packets Stevia1/2 packet Emergen-C, Raspberry flavor
Optional: 1 tsp. Ormus Supergreens Powder (I really love adding this!)
Fresh Pomegranate Juice or Seeds
Instructions:
Add everything to your high-power blender and blend until it turns frothy pink about 30 seconds. Serve over ice.
You can also just juice the grapfruit and make a cranberry drink that is less fiberous (see picture below)! Reserve the ice and just add it to the juice so that it isn't a slushy. This would also make a really beautiful whole foods martini for a girls night out or for guests!
Note:
Drink this the morning after you eat a high fat meal, it will clean out your liver and gallbladder (I'm not kidding, it's intense!) I invented this after reading Adrea Moritz Amazing Gallbladder and Liver Flush (amazing book!). Just F.Y.I, you might want to make sure there is a nice loo around... lol.
Aimee this looks awesome!! I am so jealous of your beautiful pic, and I am so going out to buy a new camera. And, I am so making this smoothie!

Oh, can I put a link on my blog to your blog?
ReplyDeleteYes, of course you can! It's kind of a crappy blog lol, not the information, but I can never seem to get the formating right. :) Anyways, I will start posting recipes and blog a lot more, it's fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is really fun! When we come for Lee's wedding we should have a goal to go to a computer and see if we can figure out what the deal is with formatting. Fun!
